These terms cover your use of gajtosqft.com and everything on it: the converters, the articles and the contact form. Using the site means you accept them.
What the converters are
The converters are educational tools. They apply published arithmetic (1 gaj = 9 square feet by North-India listing convention, 1 square guz = 8.91359 square feet per Google Units, 1 square foot = 0.09290304 square metres, 1 acre = 43,560 square feet) to the numbers you type. They do not know your plot, your deed or your local authority.
What they are not
Nothing on this site is legal, financial or surveying advice, and nothing here is an official or certified measurement. For a sale, a registration, a loan or a dispute, the figures on the sale deed, the registry record and the authority's approved site plan are the ones that count. If they disagree with this site, they are right and this site is wrong.
Accuracy
We try to keep every figure correct and every source named. We do not guarantee that the site is free of errors or always available. If you find a wrong number, tell us and we will check it against the source.
Your use
You may use the converters for any lawful purpose and quote results with a link back. You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, present its output as an official measurement, or remove the labels that say which convention a figure used.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, gajtosqft.com is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the site's figures. The remedy for disagreement with these terms is to stop using the site.
Changes
We may revise these terms. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
